Protein packed overnight oats
Ingredients
  • ½ cup old fashioned oats
  • ⅓ cup of water
  • ¼ cup of grass fed vanilla yogurt
  • 17 grams of freeze dried strawberries
  • ¼ teaspoon of cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon of agave nectar
  • 1 scoop of vanilla idealshake powder
Instructions
  1. This is another dump it all in a bowl and mix it up recipe. When mixed, place in jars overnight, and it is ready to eat. I quadruple this recipe so my daughter and I have some grab and go food in the fridge.

Low calorie soup that is filling and helps you lose weight
Ingredients
  • 5-6 cups chopped cabbage (1 cabbage)
  • 2½ cups of chopped yellow onions (3 to 4 medium onions)
  • 4 cups of chopped celery (or one bunch)
  • 1 lb. of carrots chopped
  • 1 cup of diced bell peppers (about 2)
  • 5 cloves of garlic
  • 1 jalapeno chopped
  • 1 lb of lean ground turkey
  • 7 cups of whole canned no sodium added tomatoes
  • 32 oz. of no salt added beef broth
  • 2 quarts of low sodium tomato juice
  • 1 quart of water
  • 1 package of french onion soup/dip mix. I use trader joe's, no msg
  • 2 tsp. of marjoram
  • 4 tsp. of ground black pepper
  • a few dashes of worcestershire sauce
Instructions
  1. There is really nothing to this. Just chop everything up and throw it in the pot. Cook until all the veggies are tender (about 20-30 minutes). This makes about 3 gallons of soup so the nutrition information is based on that.

 

Spelt Waffles Recipe

Whole grain spelt waffles
Ingredients
  • 1½ cups Whole Grain Spelt Flour
  • 1½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt
  • 2 Tbs Granulated Fructose (or Sugar)
  • 2 Tbs Coconut Oil or Melted Butter
  • 2 Medium Eggs
  • 1 cups Milk
  • 1½ tsp. Vanilla Extract
Instructions
  1. Preheat waffle iron.
  2. Mix dry ingredients together in a medium bowl.
  3. Mix eggs, oil, milk and extract in a separate bowl. Add liquids to dry ingredients and mix until moist but do not over mix.
  4. Spray iron lightly with spray oil.
  5. Pour ½ cup into waffle iron and cook to desired doneness.
  6. Makes 5-6 waffles
